Still, it was halfway into the chase when Rinku Singh came in to support Rana ahead of mighty Russell. Rinku from the batch of 2018, who has been in the KKR circuit for 5 years, had to wait patiently for his turn in playing eleven and when he did, he did make it count!
He was somebody who showed how patience is not passive waiting but also active acceptance of the process required to achieve your goals and dreams. With a gun blazing knock of 42 off 23 balls, he sealed the must win game for the team purple with an over to spare and 7 wickets back in dugout!
Game 48, GT vs PBKS: Rabada mayhem brings Gujarat their second loss:
The Rishi-Rabada partnership in bowling never really allowed the Gujarat batting to settle as they could only put 143 runs on the board with the sole help of Sai Sudarshan’s 65. Punjab move up to the fifth spot on the points table and also boost their NRR as they hunted down the total with 24 balls to spare against the table-toppers.

RCB have had a pivotal shift to 4th! Back in the top four and that too by defeating one of their arch-rivals. They were clinical with the ball after a hot and cold show with the bat. CSK started well in the chase but RCB pulled them back with important strikes.
Lomror’s dashing innings of 42 runs off 27 helped RCB to propel to 170 which was never enough for CSK as they fell short by 13 runs. Lomror in his short innings after stopping the flow of wicket slogged down the Chennai death bowling. He nailed a six over the deep square leg before adding few more boundaries in his names.
He might have missed a half century but it was such important given the prospect of the game.

Powell remained on 67* in 35 balls consisting of six sixes and three fours.
Game 51, GT vs MI: Tim David’s late fire crashed Titans:
177 by Mumbai never really seemed enough after Gujarat put up a 90+run stand for first wicket. But two crucial runouts of Captain Hardik and Tewatia in last over brought MI very much into the game! Not only that the pressure by this time was so much that once adored as the ‘killer’ Miller could not pull off 9 runs from the last over from Daniel Sams and thus ended on the losing side for the night.
But it was Tim David who made sure Mumbai would have enough in the bank to defend in the later stage. Specially with the wicket of Pollard, someone was required to crack shots and David with a strike rate of 209.52 consisted of two fours and four sixes posted a respectable total of 177/6 which proved match winning later on.
Mumbai, even though was breathing after the game, saw themselves knocked out later in the week.
